Goreacle at the Oscars

It won't be long now until we find out whether Gore's movie gets an Oscar. Rumor on the street has it the man "some bloggers" apparently call the "Goreacle" will be playing a role at the awards ceremony outside his possible acceptance speech. Perhaps a showstopping song-and-dance extravaganza with melting glaciers and drowning polar bears! With a chorus that goes, "yes / oh yes / I'm running / for pres!"

One can hope.

In other Oscar news, the theme song for the movie -- "I Need to Wake Up," by Melissa Etheridge -- is also nominated. It is, to put it delicately, not my cup of tea. Here's the video:
