Joe Six Pack Demands Palin Stop Unfair Comparisons

Sarah Palin and the McCain campaign's insistence that Governor Palin's inept, fuzzy, and often non-answers to normal interview questions made her more relatable to Joe Six Pack hit a snag today when Joe Six Pack was finally reached for comment.

"I wish that moron would just shut up already," sneered Mr. Pack. "I mean, as if people don't already think I'm the worst caricature of a beer-swilling, NASCAR-loving, small-minded, small-town dolt. This ain't helping."

Palin has shown a distinct lack of clarity in her nonsensical answers to CBS's Katie Couric, and raised anew questions that John McCain erred in choosing her for his running mate.

Six Pack, speaking from his rural home in Madeupsburgh, USA, admitted that at first, he was taken by Palin's charms, saying "For a VP candidate, she's got a nice set of wheels." But after witnessing her pathetic attempts at a coherent interview, he says "I got the sneaking suspicion that I was smarter than she was. And there ain't no way in the world I'm qualified to be Vice-President of my local Elks Club, let alone the entire U.S. of A!"

In related news, the McCain campaign has stopped advertising in Michigan, practically conceding the state to Obama.

McCain, who confirmed he is pulling out of Michigan, denied he was admitting defeat, saying "If it were up to me, I would keep our brave volunteers there for one hundred years if necessary, to ensure that they come home in victory and with honor. But Steve Schmidt told me it's a lost cause, so screw it."
