While all eyes are on the East Coast, I'm hanging out with telenauts, musicians. artists, publishers and engineers on the West Coast at the Seattle Interactive Conference. The big themes here are digital, design, and develop.

As a keynote speaker this morning, I added two more D's to the conversation -- DO and DISRUPT. Disruption has already happened this morning when a fire on the first floor caused a slight delay and a much larger crowd disruption. Luckily no one was hurt and my presentation went off without a hitch.

And DO I will. Over the next two days I will be interviewing some of the other speakers and posting the videos to HP Tech. So stay tuned for some intriguing insights into the future- - from mobile to biotech, filmmaking to coding, gaming to painting.

Today's interviews include: John Roderick with John Hodgman, Merlin Mann, Scott Simpson, Jonathan Coulton followed by David Bunnell, the Founder of PC Magazine, PC World, and Macworld (among others) and a leader in the personal computer revolution of 1970s, futurist and filmmaker Jason Silva and Richard "Koci" Hernandez, a photojournalist.
