Remember when Hillary Clinton moved to New York and adopted it as her home by idiotically putting on a Yankees hat? And remember how Hillary Clinton tried to head into Illinois and claim that no, no, she's from there too? And then remember how she implied that her Wellsley and Yale roots meant she was from Massachusetts and Connecticut in the lead up to those states' primaries? And then remember during the Texas primary she claimed she also had deep roots in south Texas?

Well, now she's claiming she's actually from Pennsylvania - a convenient announcement just a few weeks ahead of Pennsylvania's primary.

I just got this from her campaign in my email box:

Dear David,

Hillary has always had deep family roots in Pennsylvania and lifelong memories of her time spent there as a child. Her grandparents came to Pennsylvania over a century ago, and her father, Hugh Rodham, was born and raised in Scranton --- and then went on to play football for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Hillary has always been connected to Pennsylvania and that's why she has always carried with her the images and voices of the people she came to know. Coming back to Pennsylvania this week has been more like a homecoming...

Yes, she cares so much about Scranton that she spent the last decade championing the same NAFTA that has destroyed that part of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Take this poll and tell us where you think Hillary Clinton is from.

Is this woman following me? I am from Chicago, so is she. I moved to Pennsylvania 13 years ago and now she is from here too??? Creepy.

Whether or not she is from here, I wish she would leave here.

Hmmm... while you are at it, please, do tell me where Obama is from. Or Romney, if that is easier.

Lots of Americans move in their life. Military families move any other year, but even civilians do not stay at one place all the time. She was born in Illinois, studied in Massachusetts, has Grand-parents in Pennsylvania, moved to Arkansas, Washington D.C. and to New York. There was a lot of criticism concerning her bid for the senate seat in New York, because she just went there a few months before the election. Well, she must have done something right, because in her re-election in 2006, she increased her number of votes.

To give you the solution to the Obama question: His mother came from Kansas, his father from Kenya, he was born on Hawaii, moved to Indonesia for a number of years, returned to Hawaii, left to study in Massachusetts (even so he does seem to have problems to pronounce the state name...) and settled down in Illinois and Washington D.C. So where is he from?

I have a slightly different take.

Barack Obama is from Mars; Hillary Clinton is from Uranus.

Hillary told us New Yorkers, that this was her home state, too... Then she forgot about us.

Why do the Clintons always treat the public like we are just drop-dead stupid?

Ummm...because a lot of us are.

Whereever Hillary Clinton came from and the kind of person she was, both were devoured by decades of betrayal and bitterness. Her strength is her own innocence wronged, the kind of tragedy that elevates to being one's own personal martyr, crucified by the masses and only comforted by her certainty that the rabble know not what they do.

No -She's from Washington DC. Regardless where she was spawned, that is her hometown now, and she fits in perfectly there.

Hmmm ... you know, I have worked, lived in about a dozen states and driven though or visited another 35. The only states I haven't set foot in are Vermont, Maine, Alaska. I guess by Clinton's standards - I should run for president - because "I'm from there!"

I was excited participate in the poll but unfortunately there was no option listing for "Hell". I would have voted for "Uncommitted" but even that wasn't included either.

And St. Obama's not from Kansas, Hawaii, Kenya,Indonesia and Illinois. So, he's not just as greasy as Clinton.

No but if Indonesia ana Kenya had primaries you can bet that Hillary'd be there dressed as a Massai and fluttering about how good it is to be "home" or eating Ayam Taliwang while saying "Rasa malu pada anda Barack Obama"

Ah well, Hillary is but a little bit of this, a bit of that but truly comes off as a true Clinton as she flips her way across the nation trying to establish herself as OUR INEVTIBLE nominee....She has roots of some sort or other in SOoooooooooo many 'places" and "tribes" and whatever...Obama found out HE was distantly related to Cheney, wondering if Hillary is soon to come up with a countering claim of HER own to promote she connects genetically with blacks and hispanics ...she already claims the "sisterhood" vote block of women that WILL vote for her just cuz a sister (of some sort or other an evidently makes no diff just enough tht SHE IS WOMAN so can at least figuratively be a stick it in male faes that yeah, baby, women have indeed come a long way /etc/etc/etc--always makes me wonder why are women themselves limiting themselves by NOT recognizing that without WOMEN there sure as heck would not be ANY male period/etc/etc so while not recognizing such they allow themselves EASILY to be marginalized and in past , women were actually recognize for full value/worth and NECCESSITY....whatever, a full ranged topic all on its own !! ) Just cuz she IS female is NOT reson enough to vote for her, just as just cuz Obama is black, not enough of a real reason to vote for him and yeah, there are going to be votes cast JUST due to those particular considerations, but not by the TRUER majority, the ones that can actually think and consider and comprehend and so much more.

Isn't that what we are looking for? A candidate that appeals to a majority?
