Recently I did a playlist for Dick Cheney. So in light of recent horrible events, here's my playlist for some other schmuck who insists that he won an election. At your own risk, here's my Playlist For A Total Dick-Tator: Songs To Put You In The Mahmoud:

That one was off their first album, which I had when I was 13...speaking of Culture Club, I thought of another song...."Mistake Number 3"

See I don't think it's "Little Lies" in this case.
How about "Lies" by The Knickerbockers" (Beatles-like and rocking) or "Liar" by Argent instead?
"Bed of Lies"-Matchbox Twenty
"I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls. What else?
PS -- If you're going for "Rock the Casbah," try Rachid Taha's version.
"Big Brother Muscle"-Screaming Blue Messiahs

Not since Artie Lange last night on Joe Buck's show has anyone dominated a conversation. Excellent suggestions.
I certainly don't want to monopolize the thread. I could easily go on but I tried to limit it to one song per artist ("Let's Go Crazy" beat out "Delirious"-Prince, for example).
"Renegade"-Styx
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World"-Tears for Fears
"I Scare Myself"-Thomas Dolby
"Lies"-Thompson Twins
"Free Fallin'"-Tom Petty
"Atomic Punk"-Van Halen
"I Suffered a Head Injury"-The Verve Pipe

I think "Atomic Punk" and "I Hate Americans" are my favorites.
I can't even keep my own songs straight, it is "I'm Afraid of Americans" by David Bowie.

There's something so right with "Let's Go Crazy," Forsetti.
Not to be confused with "Something So Right" by Paul Simon.

I'd like to see your iTunes.
Good choices.
Oddly, "Never Been Any Reason" is a song that must not have gotten airplay where I lived, and I only discovered it recently.
"On The Dark Side" is great -- I'm thinking "Eddie & The Cruisers" was huge in Iran, but "Tender Years" doesn't really work.
Thanks.
"Highway To Hell"-AC/DC
"Same Old Song and Dance"-Aerosmith
"Cruel Summer"-Bananarama
"Masquerade"-Berlin
"Shakedown"-Bob Seger
"Dangerous Type"-The Cars
"Wicked Games"-Chris Issak

Wow, Forsetti, way to step up to the plate.
"Dangerous Type" is one I love and would never thought of -- and "I'm Afraid of Americans" too
Thanks
By the way... Miley Cyrus? With all the sociopolitical impact of a water balloon on the sun?

Going for a little irony -- apparently a swing and a miss.
But I'll keep swinging.
The irony would be the discovery that Ahmadinejad listens to Miley in his bedroom while playing with Rainbow Brite and My Little Ponies. In footy pajamas.
A great post though. No argument there. :)
Ooh! i forgot one...
