Perhaps the single most - and arguably only -- fashionable thing about me is that on this Oscar Sunday, I will be somewhere in the general vicinity of the Red Carpet for the 84th Annual Academy Awards. I'm writing the 90-minute Oscars Red Carpet Live show that airs on ABC starting at 7PM Eastern/4 Pacific, offering you exclusive coverage of all the action both on the world's most famous red carpet and inside the Theater in the Hollywood & Highland Center. I'm sure each male star will be struttin' his stuff like a "Little Red Rooster" - The Rolling Stones.
And each starlet will be all shiny and sleek like a "Red Barchetta" - Rush.
As for me, I'll have to be content with "Dreaming In Red" - The Calling - and satisfied with only being able to watch "The Film Of My Love" - 10cc - instead of seeing her in person.
I'd like to say I'll be Simply Red from eating Red Hot Chilli Peppers during the show, but the fact is I'll be "The Green Man" - XTC - with envy thinking of you actually being there. ;-)
