"Wishing Well": A Playlist for Rush Limbaugh in Hawaii Tonight

What's Your Reaction:

Dear Rush,

I have no mega-dittos for you tonight -- only well wishes and a few songs to help speed what I hope will be your quick recovery. Here's hoping that you can right back to being wrong real soon.

Wishing Well - Terence Trent D'Arby
Getting Better - The Beatles
Get Well Soon - Steve Forbert
Feeling Good - Nina Simone
The Spirit of Radio - Rush
Rush - Big Audio Dynamite
Gut Feeling - Devo
Don't Think... Feel - Neil Diamond
Feeling All Right - Joe Cocker
Living and Living Well - George Strait
Put a Little Love in Your Heart - Jackie DeShannon

Come on, Huffington Post, let's show Rush the human dignity that he sometimes denies others, and send him all our best -- and some cool tunes to recover by.

Turning the other cheek is wasted on those who see it as weakness. He's out and unrepentently stating America has best health care... sure if you got billions to back it up.

Oh, I get it because you want to celebrate all he's done with his head to make radio a powerful medium, right?

How about; "Wasting away in Margaroxyville?" Will this make it in? Will it? Don't hold your breath.

Compassion must be reciprocal if it is to be meaningful, otherwise we're rewarding and encouraging his bad behavior.

Boy, I bet Bob and Terence Trent are always getting confused for one another.
Love Mould -- especially the "Workbook" album and Sugar stuff.

I love The Chairmen of the Board -- and their corporate name seems just right for Rush.

Dang! Wish I had thought of "Give Me Just a Little More Time" Chairman of the Board - it's one of my favorites and very appropriate for Rush today.

Not to kick someone when they're down, but including Diamond's "Don't Think - Feel" assumes one possesses a heart with which to 'feel'. OUCH!

Since we're hours away from starting a new year and decade, I'm gonna take back that snarky remark of mine, and join you in wishing Mr. L. a hearty and full recovery.

I'm going to assume he has a heart, and encourage him to use it more as he gets better.
