How to Turn Your Life Around Today

This post may sound a little reflective, and you'll find why in a moment. I had a chance meeting the other day which had a real impact on me.

Life is short.

We're only here for a time, and if you're not enjoying every moment while you're alive then you're pretty much already dead.

Are you happy with the way your life is right now?

Are you with that gorgeous person you love with all your heart and who loves you?

Do you have financial freedom so you can go out and live life the way YOU want?

If you're not completely satisfied with life but you're not doing anything about it... it's time to change it all RIGHT NOW. I mean this second. Before it's too late. Here's why...

I heard from an old friend the other night. His mom passed away a couple of weeks ago, and he shared a story with me I want to share with you today.

My Mom had been ill for some time.

She'd been in and out of hospital for a few years, but this time we knew it was serious. I don't think we expected her to go downhill so quickly, but I think she probably knew.

The last night I saw her I held her hand and we talked for hours. But one conversation I had with her will stay with me for the rest of my life, David. I asked her if she was frightened. I guess I was hoping she'd say no for my own peace of mind. And sure enough she looked at me and said, "I'm not scared honey. I'm just a little disappointed."

I asked her why she was disappointed. Did she feel the doctors had let her down? Had I let her down in some way?

She looked me right in the eyes and said, "No son. I'm disappointed in myself. I'm laying here knowing I'm leaving this life soon and I can't help thinking of all the opportunities I missed. I've had a pretty good life, but there were so many amazing things I could have done if I'd have had the confidence and courage to do them. There were places I could have traveled to, people I could have met, and jobs I could have done.

Did you know I had the chance to work in films too? I turned down the job because I didn't think I'd succeed so I didn't even try. That's why I'm disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy. I just wish I'd have experienced life at the peak. It's too late for me now, but promise you'll take every opportunity you run into, and you'll not settle for anything less than you desire in your heart."

The next morning my friend's mom passed away.

What she'd said to him left such a big impression he's already started a new job, asked his girlfriend to marry him, and next month he's flying to Vegas -- the place he'd always wanted to visit as a kid. What haven't you done because you've been too scared, or you just procrastinated over?

How many great experiences have you turned down?

And how many relationships have you missed out on because you talked yourself out of going and saying "hi"?

I want you to commit TODAY to changing your mindset forever. I want you to commit to becoming the ultimate version of you YOU can be. And I want you to commit to not settling for an AVERAGE existence.

You deserve love.
You deserve confidence.
You deserve power.
You deserve financial abundance.
You deserve to meet that special someone.
You deserve happiness.

But to experience life from the peak you have to put yourself out there. You have to take chances and risk some disappointments. Don't fear rejection, embrace it. It's all experience, and it reminds you you're alive.

I don't want you to have regrets. There can't be any greater pain than getting to the end of your life wondering what could have been. Thinking about the things you didn't do, rather than enjoying the memories of things you DID do.

It's time to live life the way it should be lived -- from the peak!
