This morning on Fox News Sunday Sarah Palinechoed Andrew Breitbart's discredited BigJournalism site in making serious accusations against CBS affiliate reports in Alaska.
PALIN: As for Joe Miller, the things that this fellow has had to put up with up against the GOP machine and the Democrats and the liberal media in Alaska, it's no wonder that the numbers are tightening in that race. Just last night it was revealed that the rally that I had for Joe Miller on Thursday, it was revealed and we have the tape that proves it, that the CBS reporters, the affiliate in Alaska conspired to make up stories about Joe Miller.
We have the tape, Chris, and I can't wait until it busts out all over the nation to show what it is, that we -- kind of what I put up with for two years now with the media -- but what Joe Miller is faced with in dealing with somebody who feels -- Lisa Murkowski -- so entitled to that seat that she and some of her people, including some complicit in the media will do anything. They will stop at nothing to allow Lisa Murkowski to get back, elected.
WALLACE: You're saying. Wait a minute. You're saying -- I'm not saying you're bringing this story -- you are saying that local reporters in Alaska conspired with the Murkowski campaign to put out false information about Joe Miller?
PALIN: I am saying, and we have it on tape, that CBS reporters of -- in the affiliate up there in Alaska, on tape, are saying let's find a child molester in the crowd as supporter of Joe Miller, let's blast that. Let's concoct a Ron Paul moment there. Let's find any kind of chaos so that we can tweet an alert saying, "Ooh, there's chaos. Joe miller got punched." That's sick. Those are corrupt bastards, Chris. That's what is wrong with the media today, when they have their chosen one, and nine times out of ten -- heck ten times out of ten in the liberal media, it's going to be the liberal as the chosen one.
Sarah Palin has made serious accusations of journalistic malfeasance. Either Palin accurately described the tapes, or she did not. America's news consumers need to know the truth about these serious accusations. The public in Alaska needs to know the truth so they are fully and correctly informed before they cast their ballots Tuesday. Palin has a responsibility to release the full, unedited tapes publicly and to all media.
She is so used to never having to defend what shes says that casual lies just spill out of her. Why tell the truth when a lie (that she will never feel pressured to defend) is so much more useful?
She claims that being asked which newspapers she reads are a media conspiracy "Gotcha" question.
She claimed that she was against the bridge to nowhere when her record of being for it was plain for all to see.
She participated in a vendetta against a public employee soley because he was divorcing a member of her family and had that man's boss fired for not firing the man on her demand..etc..
Again, she has never been held responsible or in most cases even asked about her lies, why would she feel the need to provide any proof in this instance?
They are fearful if exposed, she would retaliate as usual. So do not expect any real confession of an error from her. She has a similar DNA make-up of one Dick Cheney. They seriously believe that they are never WRONG! even if the Facts are staring back at them in their FACE.
Palin does not play by any rules, but her own. She is protected by talk radio and Fox to do and say whatever she wants to. Truth is optional and frankly quite rare from these clowns, but they control the message completely on talk radio and have an entire network"news" channel to pull it off. Until many more media outlets begin to do the work that you do at Media Matterd to expose this propaganda and make it the number 1 issue to be dealt with, these clowns will get away with anything they can. The real media has to step up and stop cowering away for fear of being called liberal. If the facts happen to be on the left's postion, then so be it.

The first huge flaw is the fact it is a Breitbart production. Lame.
Secondly, no one is identified by name.
It could have been recorded in his living room, a bar, or on the moon.

known communists in the US Government." Of course, he never opened the envelope
and revealed that list. He did, however, consistently modify the number of
names he held. It was then, and still is today, all "theatre of fear" tactics.
If she has the tape, and it contains damning material as claimed, why has
she not released it? We look forward to reviewing yet another "Breitbart Production."

Knowing that the tape could end up being the clincher for those uncertain of how to vote, ANYBODY would've had that tape out and being looped continuously.

What I’m more interested in is how long the MSM will allow her to use Fox News as her bully pulpit to bash them and thereby evade accountability before they really scrutinize her? How long with they treat her with awe before they realize she has no intention of ever visiting any of their networks for a substantive interview? It seems like the only person that’s trying to vet her, albeit cravenly, is Karl Rove. At least he recognizes that a one on one match-up between President Obama and Gov. Palin would yield disastrous results for the Republicans.
When it comes to Fox News she’s going to be allowed to make just about any claim she wishes, that’s just a fact that isn’t going to change. But it’s time the MSM treats her as the shallow threat to Democracy she really is.
P.S. I wonder if the phone in question was an iPhone 4. I've thought I've hung mine up and it's still been on the call like 45 minutes later, transmitting everything it heard in my pants in the meantime.
