I've noticed as that mountain of hubris crumbles beneath George Bush's feet, dozens of right wing hackmeisters posing as journalists are scrambling to reposition themselves to be bastions of the First Amendment, impartiality and equal time. To that I say, hold it right there, buddy! Not so fast! While I welcome your sudden awakening to journalistic integrity, I can't help but remember your ceaseless cheerleading for Bush's war and your complete unwillingness to ask him anything in the way of tough questions for years on end. When it comes to dereliction of duty, you guys made the Exxon Valdez look like a fender bender.
Yes, friends! It's high time we pay homage to those BUTT-KISSING, BALL-DROPPING, BOOTLICKING, BRAIN-WASHERS who pandered to a president that sold us all down the river. Presenting LAPDOGS OF THE CORPORATE PRESS, a living tribute to the scores of pseudo-journalists who weren't just embedded, they were completely asleep!
I absolutely love it.
It's a rough quote from tonight's HardBall. A variation on "You've got to give 'im credit."
This media is like a team that has more fun congratulating the team that beats them by cheating, than actually trying to win.
These so called journalists should all resign and agree to never return to the airwaves!!! They have contributed to our nation's greatest disaster by being lapdogs of the administration and of congress.
Well the media is deciding who our next prez will be,Funny how Murdoch is now supporting HClinton.Anyone think the Telco act signed by BClinton in '96 is being paid off now by Faux News & CNN support for HClinton /Why are we still using electronic voitng machines where the voting results can be changed in a heartbeat by one insider.

If you think that the media has too much power now, just wait, Big Media is about to get a whole lot bigger, if the Chairman of the FCC, Kevin Martin has his way. He isn't letting up in his relentless push to allow a handful of media giants swallow up more of your local media.
He intends to lift the longstanding ban that keeps one company from owning both the daily newspaper and a radio or television station in the same market.
We the public have untill December 11th to register our opinion to the FCC and our congress. Here is a HELP PAGE to STOP BIG MEDIA CONSOLIDATION.
I'm doing my part with my latest cartoon, here it is.
