Dean P. Simmer is a pastor, a teacher and a dedicated advocate for nonprofits & churches, working to improve and promote opportunities throughout the metro Detroit area. He is an Anglican pastor and the co-founder of St. Jude’s Anglican Mission in Midtown. In 2007 he was tapped to develop the technology resources and curriculum at Detroit Cristo Rey High School, the only coed Catholic high school in the city of Detroit.

In addition to his pastoral and teaching roles, Dean is a board member for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network in Detroit. He is an occasional blogger at his personal site, and loves to humiliate himself playing soccer with friends from the Detroit City Futbol League.

He and his wife married in 2006 and live in Corktown.
