It's an Eh-Eh-Eh World When You are the Psychotic in Chief

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

What is the most worrisome thing on this planet right now? More than the greed and the lust for power and the kind of betting on horse races that passes for journalism these days it is the fact that we have a truly psychotic government and everyone else is in denial. Speaking from purely personal experience, having been totally psychotic and knowing what the effect of my psychosis was on others, I watch with utter awe and fear as the world succumbs to the Bush/Cheney psychotic break and do nothing.

If these two men were trying to run a bingo hall, they would have been ousted so fast, it would have made the numbers caller's head spin. But given the pomp and ridiculous power we give these men with the titles President and Vice-President, we look the other way, take away the discussion of their incompetence and say there are too many other important things to do.

What exactly are those other important things we must do? When will we stop for the two seconds it would take anyone with an ounce of sense to say--not only are these two men so far removed from the reality of the world (and there is a very good definition of psychosis if I ever heard one) but they are threatening to blow up the world and they can (and this is not psychotic behavior?).

I want to make this very clear to everyone who can think about this. What we have in our midst is a madman with a lot of very lethal weapons in his control and a citizenry held as hostages by his authoritarian regime. If Bush can blithely talk about World War III as if he were issuing a challenge to another frat house, then we have to accept what our response would be say, if you were in a movie theatre and a man sitting next to you threw lit matches at the seats. Wouldn't you scream fire and get everyone and yourself out of the theatre?

This is not a joke and this is not a humor piece, this is a serious wake up call to anyone who really values human life and the continuance of life on this planet. If we want to award anyone a Nobel Peace Prize next year (hoping that we will all be here next year), it ought to go to the one who finds a way to stop these two men from destroying us.

We are watching a truly psychotic drama take place and we have to not just find the way to stop it but to make sure that it never happens again. Look at the major front runners in this campaign and you will see that they too, for the most part, would like to have the same access to the crazy-making powers this duo has. Please, someone, save the world from the madmen and women amongst us.

Ok- The Cat's out of the bag now. It's clear everyone agrees.

Now we just need someone with some kind of power, like Al Gore, to step up and save us. Maybe Mike Gravel, Ron Paul, Kucinich & Stark can help?

Someone the world respects, with resources and popular appeal.

Al- This is more urgent than saving electricity right now- ALL will be lost soon, there won't be anyone left to Use electricity, (or make and distribute what should be free solar energy-but thats another issue).

Stop them immediately. Hospitalize them, whatever. If they are insane, it is time for unprecedented action NOW.

Not after the next election (if there is one), Not after he bombs Iran, or someone (blackwater?) bombs us.

NOW as in before the end of October.

Blogging won't do it, Marching won't do it, Congress isn't capable, clearly.

We need someone to take this legal case and run with it.

Take the white coats and straitjackets with you when you do.

Please.

Before we're all soylent green for blackwater or ashes for the poison wind.

Boy, I so wholeheartedly agree with this post.As long as there is Palosi and Reid around nothing will change. In the next election do vote all independents, that is the only solution.

Words are not a friend to George Bush. He trips and stumbles over them, and falls flat on his face every time. He never says anything, beyond the achingly obvious. I have long ago given up waiting for him to speak in a detailed, edifying way on any subject. He repeats himself endlessly, stammering mindless generalities. There must be some learning disability involved. His incoherent thoughts are not the product of "folksiness," despite how the media decides to dress up his impairment. Why a man with such limited communication skills would decide on a career in politics is beyond me. A career of directing jets toward a hangar would have been a better choice.

Listening to him speak has always been like watching a high wire act or the guy spinning a succession of plates on skinny poles waiting for it all to come down.

Amen sister. They are truly Darth Vader and Emporer Pallpatine. I am waiting for Bush to rasie his hands and electrify someone who asks him a question he does not like. Never in my life have I seen a president just laugh and say I'm not going to answer that question. A pertinent menaingful question the American people have a right to know where their president stands question. He heh heh he na na na na na. I don't have to answer you. Remember that Kathleen Turner character that tells Micheal Douglas in War of the Roses that every time I see your face I just want to shove it in. That's how the world feels about this guy. Your country is gone.

Is that all there is?
Is that all there is?
If that's all there is, my friends,
Then let's keep dancing.
Let's break out the boose and have a ball,
If that's all... there is.

The citizens of this country have lost representation in Congress, which had been our only hope in preventing an Executive and Judicial Branch from colluding in the dismantling of the US Constitution at the behest of their corporate sponsors. Now it would seem apparent that the corporations have taken control of Congress as well.

Since the Bush Crime Family now controls all three branches of government, the US military, a substantial mercenary force, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, ATF, INS, DEA, and several other armed "law enforcement" agencies, the acts of defiant individuals will be easily silenced. Only a major coordinated uprising would have any effect, and that effect would probably be the deaths of thousands of civilians, with hundreds more being rounded up for beatings and incarceration or "rendered" as "terrorists".

Perhaps we'd be more effective to try supernatural techniques, like prayer, visualization, ritual magick, astral projection, or whatever people may be able to bring to bear without putting their physical persons in the line of fire. It's not much different from "writing your Congress-person", and couldn't possibly get worse results.

There have been some interesting studies in the business world of how the neurotic behavior of a chief executive propagates down to symptoms of corporate pathology. Presumably this can be extrapolated when you cross the line from neurosis to psychosis. Unfortunately, doing something about it is a real challenge. You can try to medicate the psychotic into a state of oblivion, but that does not heal the malady. I tend to side with those who believe that communication is a prerequisite for healing (without necessarily putting a Freudian spin on this principle). So how do you communicate with a psychotic who has decided that he only listens to (his) God?

Sorry, too late. The Dems have been bought off and the Repubs, well, what can you say about them? You are exactly right. I have been screaming the same thing for 5 years. These people are CLINICALLY INSANE. I also share your pessimism. They WILL nuke Iran. They WILL bring this country to it's knees. And then they will unleash Blackwater on our population. 2008 will not be a good year.
