Deborah Jones and Aimee Liu served as officers of PEN USA from 1999 to 2003.

Deborah Jones is a former TV writer from LA and is now the Director of Development for Search for Common Ground TV. We specialize in media as a means to resolve internatinal conflict and are currently working in 17 countries around the world.

Aimee Liu is the author of Flash House, Cloud Mountain, Face, and Solitaire. Her next book, Gaining, will be published in February, 2007. She teaches in Goddard College's MFA program in creative writing and is a past president of the national writers’ organization PEN USA. Website: aimeeliu.net
