Debra Duneier is the Founder and President of EcoChi, LLC, and Living Home by Debra LLC, a Feng Shui Master Practitioner, an accredited LEED® Green Associate, Certified Eco-Designer, and a New York State licensed real estate broker. Ms. Duneier is the creator of the EcoChi® system of design and the author of EcoChi: Designing the Human Experience, scheduled for publication Late Summer 2011.

Her training, background and perspective have made her a resource on topics including: Feng Shui, Real Estate, Green Design and Sustainability for media outlets including Martha Stewart Radio, Brokers Weekly, Social Life Magazine, Barons.com, HealthyLife.net Radio, Better Homes and Gardens TV, CNBC, MSNBC, CBS and the Associated Press. Debra and her EcoChi concept have been featured in the Green Issue of Enterprising Women’s Magazine, Fast Company and GreenCityChallenge.org.

Debra currently sits on the advisory board of the Sarut Group which includes Pylones USA and The Tea and Honey Store. She is a member of the US Green Building Council, Women Builders Council, the Real Estate Board of New York, the Retail Marketing Society, the American Management Association’s Sales and Marketing Council, the International Feng Shui Guild, The Green Finance Committee of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Exchange’s LEXCI and the Belizean Grove.

An accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur, Debra has successfully built three companies, including Debra Hope Creations, the exclusive supplier to the US Armed Forces of unique gift items. Earlier in her career, she was one of the first women in the United States to become a certified Gemologist awarded by the American Gem Society after graduating from the Gemological Institute of America.
Debra finds grounding in nature, friends and family in her North Fork, Long Island home in New York. Her daughter Danielle, is a jewelry designer living in NYC and her son Jamie, is a writer for NBC and lives in LA.
