Denielle Sachs joined McKinsey’s Social Sector Office in 2008 to lead all aspects of its global communication efforts around economic development, health, education and social innovation –- from partnership strategies and thought leadership campaigns, to behavior change and stakeholder engagement programs. She brings 12 years of experience managing public affairs campaigns, and has worked extensively in the development of cross cultural communication programs. Denielle has led advocacy campaigns for NGOs, advised clients on community engagement strategies in developing countries, managed complex media logistics for the White House, and designed rapid response crisis communications programs for fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Denielle held numerous positions in public affairs, most recently with APCO Worldwide where she advised clients on major international development and policy issues. Denielle has served as a media consultant to numerous political campaigns, including Senator Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. She writes for several magazines, and sits on the advisory boards of several non-profit organizations. She holds an M.A. in International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and a BA in International Politics from New York University.
