Denise Wheeler is a former freelance journalist, who set out to garner a bevy of awards until motherhood intervened. Nearly 15 years later, she is still in the trenches of carpools and school reports, but still maintains a place on the mantle where she hopes to one day display that Pulitzer. She lives in Laguna Beach, California, with her three striking and equally talented sons, and two dogs she would gladly trade for a full night of sleep.
