Is this real? I don't know the author well enough to know if this piece is satire or naivety, but I can not believe Klein's book would be taken seriously anywhere outside Right Wing fantasyland. First, he works for Worldnet Daily, which is not exactly a reputable source. Second, these quotes reflect the same rhetoric the RW has been dishing for years: Democrats will appease the terrorists.

A number of questions have to be considered:

This whole article by Wheeler makes no sense. Of all the Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton is the only one who has NOT called for a quick withdrawal of troops. It seems to me that if the terrorists should be endorsing anyone, it should be Obama or Richardson. Seems to me that Klein--if he really did interview all these jihadists as he claims--is making their case for them. Any pull out of our troops from Iraq might mean that some "strongman" will take over in Iraq and get rid of any "terrorists" who disagree with him. So what would happen then? A religious dictatorship, but a stable Iraq. There's no question that Bush destabilized the region and provided the terrorists with a fertile breeding ground in a chaotic Iraq. Giuliani would likely continue Bush's War, which would make the terrorists very happy. So why not send a message to Americans that Hillary is soft on terror? The worst thing for them is for a Democrat to be elected, and since Hillary is the front-runner, not to mention a woman, the terrorists are scared silly of her.

I admit I don't know the author or any previous work he has done. From what Wheeler says about this book makes me think it is a Karl Rove hatchet job on any Democratic candidate. If he did indeed interview these men I would think that they don't understand American politics very much. Clinton will in all likelihood continue Bush's failed policies and then hand down this war to the next president. As in Vietnam, we are there until we have our backs to the wall. In Iraq's case this means than we will be fighting Iran and many other Arab countries and are completely surrounded and isolated.
