He co-founded The Black Ivy Coalition as a civil rights coalition of various black student leaders across the Ivies collaborating to solve national issues affecting people of color. He is also former co-chair of UMOJA, the umbrella organization for black student groups and advocacy at the University of Pennsylvania.
