Deyanira Del Río is the associate director of NEDAP, an economic justice resource and advocacy center in NYC. She chairs the board of directors of the Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union, and is vice-chair of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions. She also serves on the board of directors of New Immigrant Community Empowerment in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Dey has worked for fair lending and financial justice for 15 years. She has received fellowships for her work from the Charles Revson Program on the Future of the City of New York and Coro Immigrant Civic Leadership Program, and in 2009 was selected for the Mujeres Destacadas (Outstanding Women) award from El Diario/La Prensa.
