Fall in Love With a Cause This Valentine's Day

Posted: Updated:

It's almost that time of the year again. The day where you celebrate and cherish the people and things you love. What are your plans for Valentine's Day? When I think of Valentine's Day I picture a beautiful bouquet of red roses with a box of fine dark chocolate, and maybe a nice romantic dinner somewhere extravagant. That's what Valentine's Day is all about, right?

This Valentine's Day however, I choose to fall in love with a cause. Pretty exciting, huh! That's because it is.

Not only is it exciting, it's also extremely rewarding. I mean think about it: The money you spend on flowers, chocolates and gifts you could be putting it right toward a cause, perhaps a special cause that is near and dear to your heart. Take a moment and think to yourself what matters to you? Is it the environment, animals, education, homelessness? Or maybe all of those things combined. What cause do you most care about? It could be a local or global cause. There are so many great ways to support a cause, you could donate money, take part in a campaign, or maybe even commit a few hours a week by volunteering. Whatever you do, be sure you fall in love with that cause. There are numerous places and sites to go to find the right charity. You can start by doing a little bit of soul searching or maybe even researching about a particular cause.

So, this Valentine's Day I've chose to fall in love with ISF. One that is very close to my heart. ISF's mission is to empower, educate and collaborate with people and project's to positively impact the planet and it's creatures. To learn more about this awesome cause, click here.
