Dionna Ford is a lawyer turned work-at-home mama. Dionna shares her passion for attachment parenting and natural family living at her website, Code Name: Mama. She cofounded two other websites for parents, Natural Parents Network and, and she's written two books: Homemade Cleaners - Quick-and-Easy, Toxic-Free Recipes (co-authored with Mandy O'Brien) and For My Children: A Mother's Journal of Memories, Wishes and Wisdom.
She makes her home in Kansas City, where she is active in the parenting and homeschooling communities.

TIME Magazine Cover: Extended Breastfeeding Does Not Equal Extreme

The new cover story in TIME Magazine appears to portray mothers who practice attachment parenting, and specifically those who nurse past infancy, as extreme. The headline "Are You Mom Enough?" only serves to add fuel to the "mommy wars" that I work so hard to avoid.
