In the new holistic systems approach http://CoinAge.me/ the investor does not ask "how can I make money or increase my account balances", but rather the Holistic investor asks where and with what team can I invest my money to allow these others to create genuine value for other economic system participants? This holistic approach is what causes genuine wealth to multiply. The other "make money" approach tends to divide the wealth rather than multiply it.

Of course this excellent article reflects some of my sentiments and articulations and much more needed intelligence. We can only hope more will come to understand. My main contention is we need to eliminate profiting from gambling and increase the rewards for investment in genuine value creation, and recognize the distinction between the two. In a transparent world with non-volatile markets which would be absent the gambling for dollars and gaming the system, there is far less risk for everyone and no need for hedging.
Like I also wrote before, we do not necessarily need to ban something but what we can do is tax the ill gotten gains enough to balance the system out. Such that this exploitative approach that contradicts the very purpose of the markets becomes detrimental to those that would attempt it.

Throw a high-speed transaction into a dark liquidity pool and whaddya get?

Nobody knows - but not because it's never been done. It's being done all the time to 'directionalize' markets.
And all in all, it is an open invitation for fraudsters to commit the perfect crime.

It adds nothing to the legitimate financing of capitalism. It is merely another weapon in the armoury of the Madoffs of this world.
