I was born in Canada but moved to the US before I was a year old and moved to Los Angeles when I was 10 years old. Due to a failed draft board physical I never served a day in the military. I could not have been happier about that outcome. I have visited most large American cities and many national parks but I have never traveled farther south than Acapulco, Mexico or north to Vancouver, Canada. I do watch all of the Sunday “talking heads” and follow politics down to the local level. In addition to subscribing the LA Times and Daily News I read Newsweek and Business Week. I also glance at other periodicals when they come my way. I have been a member of Toastmasters for eleven years. My work experience is in manufacturing companies performing materials management functions. I returned to school to learn legal document preparation and am now pursuing my own independent career.
