The Diablos Get Angry. It's Tough Out There.

Boy, oh, boy. The Republicans are furious! How dare two dictators of third-world countries get up in front of the United Nations and call Bush names! Diablo! Imperialist! Thug!

The slings and arrows of criticism hurt even more when the emperor has no clothes. These cowboys, these neocons, these folks who want to spread democracy at the end of a bayonet.

If they're so tough, why can't they take a few attacks from dictators? If they're so confident in what they are doing, why can't they just say what the truth is ...

Ahmadinajad is a raving lunatic holocaust denier who wants to destroy Israel. Iran is killing innocent people and leading Lebanon back into permanent armed conflict by funding Hezbollah. And they are making the situation in Iraq even worse than it already is.

Chavez is an opportunistic autocrat who is using his country's oil money to raise his own profile and satisfy his own ego. Every time the Republicans and the White House and Pat Robertson talk about him, it only raises his status as an annoying mosquito.

But when you've made America weaker, when your ideology has been proven wrong, then you're a Bush apologist left to picking fights with people who give speeches and call you names.
