If I showed you a technique that elevates your mood, energizes you and makes you more charismatic on top of it all, would you be willing to spend 2 minutes testing it out for yourself?
Of course not. You're way too busy for that. I mean, you're important and stuff. And that's a good two minutes of shopping time or noodling pointlessly on Facebook you'd miss out on. Never mind -- sorry to bother you.
But if you do have two minutes to spare for your own long-term well-being, read on.
In honor of Arianna's selection of In Praise of Slowness by Carl Honore as the first pick of the brand-spanking new HuffingtonPost Books section, I present to you an idea to enrich your life by slowing it down a bit and introducing a little mindfulness.
I call it Project Love. Europeans seem to be a little more in tune with the idea of savoring life instead of rushing through it, and appropriately enough, I shot this video in Riga, Latvia, during my summer travels. Give it a whirl. And if it doesn't work, you get your money back.
But if it does, keep on doing it every day until it becomes as habitual and natural as breathing. When you do, you'll have no choice but to become an even better version of yourself.
The power's within you
