Dr. Louis A. Tenaglia spent 31 years in public education as an elementary school teacher and principal. He is currently on the graduate faculty of Rosemont College in Philadelphia where he prepares new teachers to enter the profession. He conducts successful professional development training sessions in schools working with teachers and administrators to create an approach to disciplining children that balances personal accountability and consequences with good will and forgiveness. His work is lauded for its pragmatic approach, realism and effectiveness. Lou works in inner city public and charter schools as well as suburban schools.

Lou also has a private counseling practice where he works with individuals and couples. His counseling work focuses primarily on helping clients learn to apply forgiveness and compassion in their lives. The quality of acceptance and attunement he brings to his work creates a space of unconditional loving and acceptance for all people in all situations to experience the healing power of forgiveness.
