Posted: 03/14/2012 9:11 am

I love the way he starts the video taping three times before getting it right! It's also wonderful that ir was released to the public this way.

what are your references for these recommendations. JBM

Take a daily vitamin to balance you blood sugar has to been the most asinine and ignorant thing I have heard all day. There's not a shred of peer-reviewed, statistically significant research to back up your recommendation. Your license should be revoked and you should be relegated to cleaning out Denny's restrooms with your tongue on Saturdays at 2:15 in the morning, during Spring Break.

Dr. Hyman - I watched your program on PBS last sunday morning, the solution to better health is so simple...eat wholesome, nutritious natural foods and help the body/mind to heal itself.

I've been on Calcium/Magnesium supplements 2:1 ratio for the last 3 months and feel great.

doctors don't tell patients how vital Magnesium is for cardiovascular health. Magnesium is nature's
"calcium channel blockers" that helps maintain the walls of the arteries and small vascular capillaries to the heart delivering unconstricted oxygen to the muscle. I suffer from Cardiac X Syndrome and would have bouts of tightness in my back due to constriction of the small vascular capillaries, since taking Magnesium the problem has all but disappeared. Magensium also helps endothelial dysfunction (rigid arterial walls). I also take Krill Oil supplements, at 62 I feel great.

I also watched the program this past weekend on PBS it was refreshing for a noted physician to bravely speak the truth about diabetes and the benefits of eating a more balanced and healthy diet. I was first introduced to Dr. Mark Hyman via his articles on Huffington Post a couple of years ago, been a fan ever since I love his new term he tagged as DIABESITY, it's stuck in my head.

Thank you also for sharing your info on Calcium/Magnesium Supplements.

This man is a charlatan. His views and recommendations on diabetes are based primarily on outdated and purely "junk"science.

Could you give us some of the studies upon which you base your judgment? You don't cite any here, so it's impossible to evaluate your statement.

These recommendations are excellent. They are highly evidence-based and are confirmed by the research from the National Library of Medicine we have collated on the topic of diabesity here http://www.greenmedinfo.com/disease/diabesity-0 Interesting, arginine may also have profound benefits, along with fish oil and magnesium.
