Okay, I'm done. I've read the last bash of Sarah Palin that I'm going to read. Don't misunderstand me--Sarah Palin is as anathematic to me as she is to those who are bashing her. I'm not writing for them.

I'm writing for those of us who know how consciousness works.

Let's take a look at two noble notions.

Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind . . .

and . . .

What you resist persists.

The first was a sort of jingle I learned in seminary; the second arrived on the planet via the pen of the venerable Ralph Waldo Emerson.

How does this apply to Governor Palin?

For as long as we who DO NOT want her in federal government representing we the people are in resistance to her, we perpetuate her message, her motives and her M.O.!

This is not complicated, and besides, Consciousness Cuties, you KNOW this!

Remember the totality of who you are! Everyone who has ever done any work with conscious creating, metaphysics, The Secret or Oprah knows that one cannot create anything out of what one doesn't want. One must instead create based upon what one DOES want.

So, do you want the Obama/Biden ticket to prevail? I do. Then change your thoughts. Cease and desist feeding the frenzy around Governor Palin. If we do this collectively, she might just pale away all by herself.

Then give all that energy you've been feeding to her to Senators Obama and Biden. I swear by all that's holy--YES, WE CAN elect them.

I take your point, and it's a true and good one.

The difficulty is that, as someone standing on the curb watching the naked emperor walk by, I am gobsmacked by the number of people who are "oohing" and "ahhing" at the luxuriousness, the fit, the innovation of his non-existent clothes. It makes me want to yell, "He's naked! Really! Can't you see that? Bare butt! Knobby knees!" -- if only to reassure myself that I'm not overlooking something, that the vocal admirers in the crowd are -- in reality -- just a couple of old-time shills.

However, now that I have reassured myself that the doddering old emperor really IS just a shivering old man, I can fade away from this crowd.

Great point! I kept thinking all the time I read the unbelievable Republican excitation of their chosen candidates of the quote from Mother Theresa I believe it was in 'The Secret'...'don't invite me to a PROTEST of something you are AGAINST! Invite me to a peace rally and I'll go..."

I did not get the quote right, but the mindset suits your statement...let's not focus on what we DON'T want - and I believe Palin's time for her inadequecies are very near to showing on their own - and start imagining the team we believe in and the change that must and WILL come after Obama and Biden have taken office...change that is already beginning to make our country the best it can be.

I have a little bit of egg on my face. In my earlier comment I mentioned Joe Lieberman when I really meant to say Joe Biden! I really do know who is running for Democratic President and VP! So I'll repeat myself, Let's bless Joe Biden and his family! Blessings do count. Thank you.

So, we must tap into our higher political consciousness?

Good advice!

For those of us who wish to elect Senator Obama as our next President of the United States, we need to start blessing him, his famiy, and Joe Lieberman and his family. I have been studying the effects of blessings for some time now and I am convinced that blessing the things you want most in life WORKS! We need to quit bashing Sarah Palin and John McCain. We need to encourage Senator Obama to do the same. Let's start blessing our candidates and their families.

It feels like a long time since I've read something positive, hopeful and determined. With the Democratic leadership apparently paralyzed, we need the voice of this writer, Susan Corso, more than ever.
