My Conversation With David Lynch (Video)

Here's my conversation with surrealist David Lynch. Most know Mr. Lynch as a compelling filmmaker (Elephant Man, INLAND EMPIRE, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, Dune, Wild At Heart, Lost Highway), but he is also a gifted painter, musician, and founder of the David Lynch Foundation For Consciousness-Based Education and Peace based on the principles of Transcendental Meditation. That foundation is hosting A Night of Comedy benefit to teach at-risk youths and veterans to meditate on Saturday, June 30th, 2012.

Wow! As an artist, philanthropist and human I am continually blown away and delighted by his work. His regard and commitment to TM is also inspiring - he's right on the mark with this - TM is seriously a ticket to creative freedom, inner peace and unspeakable grace - that's my experience anyways.

Any help on naming this film...set on some planet where it's all men,,,mining , I think. Black and white...a character has a _gun_that turns people into little pyramids of dirt...scences of some guy in a shirt and tie giving a speech to the workers and talking about his wife....then there's a guy dressed like a woman that does a song....then a band plays..............I woke up in the middle of the night and this movie was on , I believe it isn't that old...but I never caught the title and I want to see it again...reminds of a Lynch film ???? Please help !!!
