On April 2, I decided I was going to get in shape and run the 2012 NYC Marathon for The National Stroke Association. This weekend I finished my last run of my first month of training as I completed the Run As One 4 mile NYRR race in Central Park. I've come to realize that we all run for different reasons, but we all need motivation and inspiration at times to keep going.
So, no matter what you believe in, as long as you believe in the run these 10 songs will help keep your legs moving. With these as my "power songs" this month, I've been able to rack up 100.45 miles at an average speed of 7.0 mph with a total running time of 14 hours, 18 minutes, and 44 seconds. So lace up, download this mix and hit the pavement.
