You are woman voting for John McCain. You are a Republican or an disillusioned Hillary Clinton supporter. Or maybe you are just someone who can't get past whatever it is that is keeping you from supporting Barack Obama. When you look at John McCain, exactly what justifies your decision to vote for him?
We have seen what happens when a person -- or persons -- totally lacking in character is given power over an entire nation. We have a country that is mired in deception and lies, its citizens paying a debt for the complete mismanagement of its assets and its international affairs.
McCain is yet another person who is of questionable character. There is clear evidence that McCain perceives women negatively. His disdain and disrespect for women is fully evident is his disparaging remarks and so-called jokes over the past few days, and even over the past few years. His most recent comment, in which he makes a crude joke about beating his wife is just the tip of the iceberg. And it's not funny.
There's also the foul, possibly racist joke about being raped by an ape . Of course, let's not overlook the number of times he's called his wife Cindy names in public. During his 1992 senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.
Then there is the dumping of his first wife, after she sustained major injuries in an accident. McCain divorced his wife of twenty years, a woman who was once a famous beauty and a successful swimwear model, to marry Cindy McCain. McCain pursued Cindy while still married to his first wife.
While he is lauded for his maverick-like approach to politics, it seems that both the media and those who support him have managed to ignore his glaring character flaws, flaws that he displays publicly and privately. According to Dr. Phil McGraw, a person's real character comes out when they feel bad; the best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior. McCain's past behavior speaks volumes. His shallow regard for women as inconsequential arm candy is a mark of poor character. People of poor character should not be making decisions for our country.

This is very scary. I just wonder are people paying attention?
Are you sure there isn't a way you can send this to all the disenfranchised Hillary supporters? They don't seem to have a clue where McCain stands on women's issues.
His strong anti-abortion stance (Obama is pro-choice, not pro-abortion) and his votes against women's issues should also be put up for consideration.
If they are choosing to vote McCain simply as a protest because Hillary didn't win, I hope they will do us all a favor and simply stay home on election day.
As a Hillary supporter who is dragging her feet getting on board with Obama, I'm waiting to see if he puts her on the ticket or lets her name be placed in nomination at the convention and count her delegates. Then we will see if Obama really wants party unity or does he just want us to shut up and support him? Who is the real PUMA? Me thinks it is Obama.
she has to earn her spot like everyone else
That "who is the real PUMA" comment is weird? Obama is supporting McCain? hmm.
