Jon Fine has a well-timed article on BloggingheadsTV, the web-based political pundit program featuring Slate's Mickey Kaus and Robert Wright, a senior fellow at think-tank the New America Foundation. Why well-timed? Because the most recent edition of BloggingHeads deals with the Daily Kos-New Republic-Chris Suellentrop kerfuffle, wich makes a lot more sense as Kaus and Wright discuss it than trying to detangle Suellentrop's account of Jerome Armstrong's former job as a paid message board poster, current position promoting Mark Warner, and association with Kos' Markos Moulitsas that has the New Republic's Jason Zengerle's eyebrows raised. Once again, I recommend letting Kaus and Wright do the heavy lifting, but in brief, here's a succinct precis, borrowed from the BloggingHeads: Nobody has technically done anything illegal, but if it were about Tom DeLay, it would smell really funny.
