Departing Rocketboom anchor Amanda Congdon seems to have had a good reason to want to move to LA: she's signed with the Endeavor Agency and is rumored to be in talks with Rock Creek Park productions, the team behind trivia-vlog 88slide. HuffPo received a similar tip also mentioning that there was talk of Congdon's 88slide deal including air time on MTV as an interstitial. Said our source: "I've never seen a frenzy like this over an internet star." This Rocketboom breakup doesn't seem to have been bad for anyone: lots of press and lots of buzz for Congdon as well as remaining Rocketboomer Andrew Baron's new anchoress Joanne Colan, scheduled to begin today (though the Rocketboom site has not yet aired her maiden broadcast).
