The Washington Examiner chilled with P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Sean John Combs in D.C. yesterday, who was surprisingly not in town for our own Arianna Huffington's "On Becoming Fearless" book party, but no doubt would have mixed effortlessly with the likes of John Murtha and Nacy Pelosi based on his comments about President Bush:
"It's just embarassing the kind of ignorance in my man," said Diddy, who now refers to the commander-in-chief on a posse-level basis."It's like my man has no marbles up there ... My man is just running up there crazy and the things he's doing are crazy ... Ain't nobody feelin' that war."
[The Examiner's] Yeas & Nays asked Diddy if events since 2004 have made him want to update the "Vote or Die!" slogan he made famous during the last presidential campaign.
"Nope, it's still "Vote or Die!,'' said Diddy. "People didn't vote and people died."
Diddy had no comment on the Crips-vs.-Bloods-like standoff yesterday between Bush and Ahmadinejad, but he did tell a group of students in Philadelphia to stay in school, lending his star power to an important message. Looks like Diddy's been watching Bill Clinton on Jon Stewart and reading GOOD Magazine!
According to the Examiner, Diddy then partied 'til the wee hours at the club Lima, though we're fairly sure he would have had a better time gettin' down with David Corn at Arianna's party. Did you see him on "Reliable Sources" this week? That dude is spicy!
