Everybody get's a crack at Time's "Person Of The Year" this week, which is really only fair if you're going to pass it off as a full hour of prime-time programming, and pretend that mylar doesn't make you look like a Picasso (Attention, Rick Stengel: Notwithstanding this, it does.) Anyhow, in addition to congratulating his viewership on being named the proud POY of 2006, Stephen Colbert pointedly noted that he'd been all over this crazy interactive user-generated-content thing from the very beginning, and didn't need no Brian Williams to point it out to him (or give him a lecture about it, for that matter). Here's the clip from last night's show, before Stephen moved on to more important matters, like interviewing HuffPo blogger Deepak Chopra and expounding on the eleventh-hour reprieve won by hard-partying-oft-shown-on-television-in-a-bikini Miss USA Tara Conner, who apparently really, really likes Miss Teen USA Katie Blair.
