Dear Jury,
First of all, we liked the Valentine's Day stunt. You can't read this now, obviously, but after the verdict, we're hoping one of you will Google up this missive and tell us why you requested a dictionary to (apparently) look up the meaning of the term 'reasonable doubt.' Because the jury instructions you received includes three whole pages explaining the concept in excruciating detail. Which is why the judge denied the request.
That's all, really. We're just wondering. Again, you won't be able to read this in time, but please know in retrospect that we're hoping you each had a pleasant Libby-free weekend.
Sincerely,
ETP
