  • A different kind of Zell-out: The post-Zell buy-out world at the LA Times isn't looking so rosy with an expected announcement today that the paper plans to cut 5% of its workforce including approx. 70 newsroom positions. [LAT]

  • Observe this! 2.0: The changes just keep coming over at the New York Observer under new-ish head Jared Kushner. The venerable, salmon-colored, newspaper has just launched a newly re-designed website in Beta.
