Rabbi Edward C. Bernstein was ordained in 1999 by the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. He has served as Spiritual Leader of Congregation Shaarey Tikvah in Beachwood, Ohio, since 2003. He is a Fellow the GreenFaith Fellows Program, a comprehensive program to prepare lay and ordained leaders from diverse religious traditions for religiously based environmental leadership. He is a member of the International Rabbinical Assembly, Conservative Judaism's rabbinic association, and he serves on its Social Justice Commission.
