Efe Cakarel is the Founder and CEO of The Auteurs, a new, global, internet-based film brand based in Palo Alto, CA. Before he got into the film industry, he spent a number of years with Goldman Sachs in London and New York, where he was involved in IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments. He's highly involved with EU's accession negotiations with Turkey, and recently spent time in the European Parliament advising the Vice President on dealings with Turkey. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and MBA from Stanford.
