Model, trendsetter, and philanthropist Elettra Wiedemann grew up in New York City. She graduated from the United Nations International School in 2001 and briefly attended Boston University -- until she was recruited for Abercrombie and Fitch and began an unplanned career in modeling. The current face of Lancome, Elettra has modeled for major design houses from Hogan to Bill Blass to Ferragamo, among others. Through her work, she has traveled the globe, picked up Italian, and has taken in the world through unbelievable experiences and opportunities.

Elettra recently came back to her native New York City and completed her degree in "Democracy and Cultural Pluralism" (International Relations) at the New School University. After the follies of Fashion Week S/S 2009, Elettra will be moving to London attempt a MSc in Biomedicine from the London School of Economics.
