Together with screenwriting partner Julie Rottenberg, she was a writer-producer HBO’s Sex and the City, where two of their episodes were nominated for Emmy Awards, and three were nominated for Writers Guild Awards. Her short film, "Civil Unions: A Love Story," premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival. She and Rottenberg are Co-Executive Producers on NBC's upcoming series, "Smash."
