I like the community organizers in my town. The mayor, not as much and to be honest very few people wanted his job.

I don't think the GOP realizes that Girl Scout leaders, fair housing advocates, volunteer litter picker-uppers -- we're all community organizers, and we make a huge difference in the world.

Let's just hope that Senator Obama keeps making that case to the electorate.

Please do not compare anyone you know to Martin Luther King, he actually accomplished many things and made things better for alot of people. There is nothing wrong with being a community organizer, but to be a effective one you should make a positive difference by the time you leave.
