Eyes & Ears reporter Ellen Beth Gill has been an attorney in the Chicago area for 25 years. She concentrates her practice in Elder Law and Estates and is a volunteer guardian ad litem in the Cook County Courts.

Ms. Gill is a founding member of the Illinois Tenth Congresssional District Democrats and writes on her blog http://www.ellenofthetenth.blogspot.com. She was thrilled to be an Illinois Tenth District delegate to the 2004 Democratic National Convention and has worked for several democratic candidates including Dan Seals in the Illinois Tenth District and her cousin, David Gill, who is running for congress in the Illinois 15th Congressional District.
