Haunt the House and Senate This Halloween

In less than a month the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, popularly known as the super committee, will send Congress their recommendations to cut at least $1.2 trillion. This will affect everyone. If that wasn't frightening enough, a majority of their work has taken place behind closed doors. Most members are continuing to fundraise and meet with lobbyists while staying mum to the press and the general public. Even a fellow member of Congress who is not on the super committee is concerned that lobbyists know more than he does.

In the spirit of Halloween, it's time to turn that scare around and haunt the offices of super committee members. Join the Sunlight Foundation and our broad coalition of partners this October 31st as we Haunt the House (and the Senate).
