Photographer Ellen Stagg fell in love with photography at 16. She moved to NYC from Easton, CT in 1996 to get her BFA in photography at the School of Visual Arts. In her junior year of college, she got signed with her first photography agent. In December 2005, Stagg began shooting more and more porn, fetish and glamour models for her website StaggStreet.com. Soon, she found that she had a collection of images that were too artsy for porn magazines and too "porny" for places like Nerve.com. At the suggestion of a friend, she started the website StaggStreet.com and was quickly noticed by the likes of Fleshbot, Complex Magazine's blog, and more, catapulting her page visitors from a couple hundred a day to thousands. She continues to do commercial work of advertising, fashion and celebrities and is eager to continue working on her StaggStreet.com images, with plans for photo books, gallery shows in addition to her documentary series on IFC.com.
