Elsie Owolo

Elsie Owolo is an educator, local and national campaign worker, and former congressional aide. She has served as a teaching fellow with the Fort Worth Teaching Fellows program and has spent the last two years teaching civics and history in inner city public schools in Texas. Prior to working as a teacher, she spent two years working on Capitol Hill. She is a recent graduate of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University and was a participant of the White House Project “Go Run” training. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and studied British politics and literature at Harlaxton College in the United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Rutgers University.
