The Season Finale of the Dinner Party

The fun thing about putting together a season finale is the building of the anticipation towards the event. The November 26 Dinner Party has gotten the most attention and clamoring by far of any Dinner Party that I have put together in this first year of the show. Fear No ART presents The Dinner Party is always the last Monday of every month. With the last Monday of December being a holiday, the November 26 The Dinner Party will be the last show of its first year, and it promises to be a doozie.

Peter Sagal, the host of "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!", Saturday Night Live alum, comedian and actor, Tim Kazurinsky, international violinist, Rachel Barton Pine and Jared Van Camp of Nellcote come together over appetizers and entrees by Chef Van Camp, wine from Hirtzberger and chocolate by Vosges. Streaming live on Time Out Chicago and filmed in front of a live audience, the audience shares in food, wine and chocolate and all viewers can tweet in questions and be a part of this interactive show at the Mayne Stage.

The Dinner Party opening act is singer Diva Lynne Jordan. Guest tweeter Sonja Loges of Taste and Tweet will be facilitating the tweet conversation and artist Dmitry Samarov will be sketching the show live. Right, did I say that the buzz was big for this show? There sure is a lot going on! The Dinner Party is bringing back the old tradition of genuine connection over a meal, but adding contemporary twists like social media and artist performances throughout the show to make this monthly event the most engaging and interactive show of 2012.
