Emer Connon is a Toronto-based freelance writer for both print and television. Emer recently finished coverage of the TIFF party circuit for Toronto Life and is proudly referred to as one half of the “Party Girls”.
Emer developed a taste for social commentary following the rousing success of her award winning sixth grade speech, “My Life as the Berlin Wall”. Since then, Emer’s main focus has been on the ins and outs of celebrity dating. Brad Pitt may want to forget his former relations with 80s Pop Sensation, Sinitta, but just like elephants, Emer can remember.

Her interests include reading (a lot: blogs, books, magazines, and subway grafitti), writing, and her French Bulldog, Dumbo, who's both as unintelligent and adorable as he sounds. Verena's relatively sparse blog can be found here.
