Emma Saloranta is the Communications Director of Girls' Globe, a global network of bloggers and organizations with the goal to raise awareness about the rights, health and empowerment of women and girls worldwide. A native of Finland, Emma has worked in Kenya, Brazil, India and United States on issues relating to human rights, gender equality and social justice. She holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from The New School University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services from her native country, Finland. She currently resides happily in Brooklyn, New York.
