During the last two weeks, I've had this one particular song on repeat:

The lyrics have grabbed my heart as I've been meditating on them daily:

“By your Spirit, I will rise from the ashes of defeat. The Resurrected King is resurrecting me. In your name I come alive to declare your victory. The Resurrected King is resurrecting me...”

All I can say is...Wow!!! I am learning more and more that God's Resurrecting Power IS available to me. God's Resurrecting Power is available to YOU, too!!

But, did you know, In order for something to be resurrected, that means that it had to be dead?

My friend, are there dead things in your life that have haunted you from the grave? Mocking you! Telling you this is the way it’s always going to be!

Have you given up hope in THAT area?

Now, let me just say this, Some stuff needs to STAY dead…but what about the things that God wants to resurrect.

A business…a marriage…a dream…your finances…your hope…your expectancy...

whatever is it in your life?

I want to share four points that I gleaned from this scripture passage - Ezekiel 37:1-10 (Message version) - which really helped me to bring this point home in my life.

The Valley of Dry Bones

POINT #1:GET HONEST ABOUT YOUR SITUATION

37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

POINT #2:MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO BELIEVE GOD IN YOUR SITUATION!!

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

POINT #3:DECLARE GOD’S WORD IN YOUR SITUATION (HIS PROMISE)

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

POINT #4:DON’T BE MOVED BY THE TIMING OR LACK OF PROGRESS

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

POINT #5: KEEP SPEAKING LIFE OVER YOUR SITUATION

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

My friend, whatever the dry bones represent in your life, I want to encourage you today. God's Resurrecting Power is available to you!

Today's Challenge: I dare you to believe in God's possibility!
